THE EXTENDED TRAILER IS HERE!

PUBLIC HEALTH NOTICE

In the last 24 hours emergency services throughout the United Kingdom have been inundated with reports of violent and aggressive behaviour linked to an unknown virus spreading rapidly across the globe.

Health organisations worldwide are working in conjunction on a cure but at this time we strongly suggest you read and share the following advice, memorable by the mnemonic, “MARS”:

Monitor TV/Radio
Avoid the injured
Remain indoors
Spread the word!

Monitor TV/Radio

The government is working with the army to ensure food and water are distributed to homes in your area. Keep monitoring TV/Radio for updates on progress.

Avoid the injured

Most reports of violent behaviour involve biting. This is highly likely to be how the virus spreads. DO NOT be tempted to help the injured, no matter how difficult or upsetting this may be.

Remain indoors

Remain in your home or current place of refuge. Ensure all doors/windows are locked and secure. DO NOT leave your home/place of refuge in an attempt to stockpile supplies.

Spread the word!

Tell people you are with to adhere to these instructions. Help spread the word – not the infection!

Additional:

At this point in time it is no longer possible to use the 999 emergency service number. This is due to call centres being inundated with requests for assistance. It is hoped normal service will resume soon. In the meantime, adhere to the above instructions and remember your right to use reasonable force should the particular circumstances you find yourself in justify them. DO NOT try to apprehend anyone. Wherever you find yourself in danger, IF IN DOUBT, GET OUT.

Message ends.
